Digital Portfolios

Are you looking for ways to teach students how to use digital portfolios? This video by Central York High School art teacher, Katlyn Wolfgang is just what you need. I can't wait to begin applying her suggestions and allow students to share their work with the world.

We would love to hear how you use digital portfolios in your classroom. Make sure to visit Katlyn's youtube channel for more videos.

  1. I've been using google sites for a few years and they are easy to set up and easy to maintain also! I hadn't thought about using them the way that you described though, it's a great idea!

  2. What a great way to NEVER have to repeat these instructions to a student again, all you need to do is direct them to this video :) What a time saver! I like how you incorporated iMovie into this vid, adds some spice :) You go girl!

  3. I love this, it is exactly what I have been looking for. I'm worried about getting furloughed and have been looking for ways to get a digital resume/portfolio out there and this is a great way to do it.
When my school allows students to use google accounts, the possibilities are endless on how to use this for the classroom.
Could you please also post an example of a finished page so I can see what a project might look like with example images etc?
    Thanks!

  4. This is awesome--very user-friendly and easy to understand. High school students should be able to create their digital portfolio within 10 minutes or so by following your clear, step-by-step directions. Love it!
